The Grievance Redressal Committee at Government Arts College, Bayad, functions with the objective of addressing the concerns and complaints of students, staff, and stakeholders in a fair, transparent, and timely manner. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment that promotes academic and personal well-being.

Objective

The primary objective of the Grievance Redressal Committee is to provide a mechanism for redressing grievances related to academic, administrative, or personal issues. The committee aims to uphold the dignity of the institution by ensuring that grievances are resolved in a constructive and responsible manner.

Scope of Grievances

The Committee deals with matters including, but not limited to:

  • Academic-related issues (evaluation, attendance, internal assessments, etc.)
  • Harassment or discrimination of any kind
  • Facilities and infrastructure concerns
  • Issues related to discipline and conduct
  • Any other concern affecting the academic and personal welfare of stakeholders

Grievance Redressal Procedure

  • Any aggrieved student, staff, or stakeholder may submit their complaint in writing to the Grievance Redressal Committee.
  • Complaints may also be submitted through the official email or grievance portal (if applicable).
  • The Committee will examine the complaint, seek necessary information, and provide an opportunity for all parties involved to be heard.
  • A fair and confidential inquiry will be conducted, and suitable action will be taken in accordance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
  • The outcome of the inquiry will be communicated to the complainant in a timely manner.
